Chapter1: Chuunin exams
Akari arrived at the chuunin exams a little bit nervous seeing all the competitors in the test. Upon seeing a red haired guy around her age with the word love in his forehead and a large gorge at his back, she froze in fear. He caught her with a glance and as if a cold steel blade stabbed her as she saw the blood thirst in his eyes like every time she was close to death. Then she felt someone else’s presence an odd sad ninja suddenly appeared at her side 3 feet away from her with even crazier eyes just looking straight at her. A sweat dropped from her forehead. That person disappeareds into thin air not even the change of wind was noticed.
“What does she want from me”she asked herself. She removed this impression when her team mates rejoined her. She was surprised seeing Uzumaki Naruto was there entering for the chuunin exams. Still somewhat the same as he was in the academy. She remembered the days when she would occasionally join him and the others skip class. She had grown somewhat one of his friends but not so much since they had a similar effects of their circumstances though she had no knowledge of it. Her being the daughter of a samurai gave people a reason to shy away from her. She had stayed positive knowing that her mother was not ashamed of loving a samurai or leaving the village. It was just circumstances and also she truly hoped that she would eventually she would meet her sister Hikari.
The chuunin exams started and an intelligence test was give. She was all nervous as she received it. She didn’t know any way to cheat and not be caught. She just answered the questions relived it was just to test their nerve.
The second part came and there was the real test. She had to take scrolls.
“Akari I’ll leave it to you” one her team mate said. From a distance they found a group of ninjas. She then got her guitar and performed a jutsu.
“Relaxation technique”she said. She then played the music. The ninja’s didn’t suspect it and got relaxed. They were so relaxed that they didn’t notice people stealing from them and eventually went to sleep. This was her genjutsu given by her mother though the guitar version of it. She heard it that her mother played the flute to ensnare her enemies. They had to do it 3 times to get the right scrolls. They then spotted another group of ninjas from afar.
“Wait”she said to her team mates seeing who it was. It was the odd girl from before. They then hid far and observed. The 2 ninjas that accompanied her distanced themselves while the odd girl faced 3 of the enemies. She then suddenly appeared to their back with great speed. On her hand was one of the scrolls. She looked at it and was disappointed bending her neck to see.
The enemy ninjas then suddenly had their blood squirted out from their necks. A fear went to them. It was good that Akari warned them. the two boys thought. Suddenly she was there at her back looking at them with the same crazy look.
“Do you have a sky scroll?” the odd girl asked like a witch with a spell.
“Here” one of the boys panicked and gave her the scroll.
“Ariga toooou” she answered back then left with her team mates.
They all gave a big sign of relief. They now realized that it wouldn’t be easy surviving the exams. They were lucky to have given them the extra scrolls and not there own, after so they proceeded to the designated area.
Since they were a lot they had a little tournament. Everyone was strong. It was like some magnet her 2 team mates fought each other as well as the odd girls team mates who ended up killing each other. Finnally it was her turn after Gaara’s battle.
“Next battle will be Akari versus Hikari”the announcer said.
“Hikari!”Akari said in surprise surprised to hear her sisters name. She wet down but the one who came down with her was the odd girl who was suddenly there.
Everyone was thought of the irony that the odd girl whould have the name for light.
She knew she was a strong enemy so she decided to bring out her secret weapon. She took her guitar and broke the strings and took out the top. It was ejected and turned out to be a long samurai sword. It was a shamed weapon yet no one said it was illegal to use for ninjas. It was a heirloom by her father the sword of “Honetsuga”. The girl called Hikari opened her container and brought out 2 kunais one for each hand.
The referee started and suddenly Hikari was gone. It was like a whirlwind she created and wounds suddenly appeared on her face on her arms and her legs. Akari tried to bear the pain but she could not even see her. She bered the pain thanking whatever go she believed in that she was not killed or at least yet. She was almost at her limit. She saw an opened and slashed her face. Hikari was slashed from her right face to her chest. There was no blood but somewhat like a second skin. Another layer of skin a less paler color and brown chestnut eyes. The cut clothes revealed a necklace like hers with the name Hikari.
In a quick flash Hikari punched Akari in the stomach and more. Hikari stopped. Akari fell unconscious but before she finally blacked out said “Hikari finally”
